Lettering

PRICING & PACKAGE

PERSONAL PROJECT

Lettering improves with consistency — not intensity. That's why I offer session packages designed around a regular rhythm that works for your life. A pack of 4 sessions fits a month of weekly practice, or two months if bi-weekly suits you better. Eight sessions take you through two months of weekly sessions or four months at a gentler pace. And with 12 sessions, you're committing to three months of weekly work, or a full six months of steady, sustainable progress. There's no rush and no expiry — your credits are yours to use at whatever pace keeps you showing up.

How to best use Lettering 1 on 1

You've been drawing. You can see what good lettering looks like, and you can also see the gap between that and what’s on your page. You just can't always put your finger on why and how?

Lettering 1-on-1 is a focused session where we look at exactly that!

You bring your work, I bring fresh eyes. Together we find what's getting in the way, whether that's letterform habits you've picked up, inconsistencies you haven't noticed yet, or just needing someone to tell you where to put your energy next.

BLACKLETTER

What level do I need to be?
You should have some experience with hand lettering already. This isn't a beginner course — it's for people who are ready to get specific about improvement.

What happens in the session?
We look at your work together, talk through what you're working on, and I give you targeted feedback and a concrete thing to focus on next. It's a conversation, not a lecture.

What if I have a specific question or goal?
Even better — send it my way when you book. The more I know in advance, the more useful the session will be.

  • After each session you will receive a written recap with marked-up feedback and the key points we discussed

1. Ongoing accountabilityYou've been drawing a lot and just want a consistent push — someone to check in on your work and make sure you're paying attention to the right things.

  • Bring 1–3 pieces depending on where you are

  • We'll discuss what to keep an eye on and where to direct your energy next

2. Finding your directionYou've been exploring a lot of different styles and want help figuring out where to focus.

  • Bring a small portfolio — a selection of recent work

  • We'll talk through your goals and identify which area is worth diving into deeper

3. UnblockingYou're stuck on a specific project and need a fresh perspective.

  • Bring the project you're wrestling with

  • We'll explore solutions together and find a way forward

4. Project critiqueYou've taken workshops and want focused feedback on a specific piece.

  • Bring the current work you'd like critiqued

  • We'll do a live review and discussion of the piece together

5. Final polishYou're experienced and don't need ground-up support — you just want sharp, specific pointers to tighten up your work.

  • Bring up to 3 projects for discussion

  • We'll go through each one and focus on the finishing touches
